Carlton's take: A lot of newcomers cracked my poll this week: Wisconsin, North Carolina, Northern Iowa and Bucknell. All are one-loss teams with nice wins who dropped games to high-quality opponents. It's time to start paying attention to Colorado State. The Rams have wins over Colorado, Auburn and Pepperdine. Their one loss was by four at Kansas State.
Carlton's poll was submitted Sunday night.
