The Plan
More than 100 fifth-graders at La Mesa Elementary School walked through the surrounding neighborhood, cameras in hand, looking for designs or patterns, for good things and bad, for happy and sad situations.
The Assignment
Take two photos of things that make you feel happy or calm, two photos of things that offend you that you would like to see changed, a picture of a group of people and a single person, a zoom-in shot and a wide-angle shot, and try to capture something that's moving.
