Only one adult was arrested during the "Black Friday" frenzy the day after Thanksgiving, according to jail records.
By Sunday, nine adults had been arrested on charges of shoplifting or petty larceny.
Five of the nine were arrested Sunday; four of those five were arrested at Target stores.
Two Target stores, one on Lomas and Eubank boulevards and the one on Paseo del Norte and I-25, logged the most shoplifting calls.
Between Thanksgiving and Sunday, two adult shoplifters were busted at each of the stores.
Two shoplifters were arrested at area Wal-Marts and two at Cottonwood Mall, the jail records show.
Another shoplifter was arrested at a shopping center at Isleta Boulevard and Arenal Road.
