Evaluation: All of the groups surveyed for this evaluation rated Clinton favorably. She also received high ratings for her overall judicial performance. Some of her specific strengths include her attentiveness to proceedings, courtesy to others in the courtroom, dignified manner and her fair treatment of pro se parties. She was also rated positively for ruling on motions and cases in a timely manner. In addition, Clinton received positive ratings for her knowledge of the rules of procedure and evidence, and her knowledge of substantive law.

Experience and education: Clinton was appointed to Metro Court in 1999. Her prior work experience includes service as an assistant district attorney in Bernalillo County and several years in private practice, where she concentrated on criminal and juvenile law. She is actively involved in community and professional organizations. Clinton received her undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University and her law degree from the University of Utah.
