Memorializing Columbine: Albuquerque's Roman Fountains Corp. has been awarded a $50,000 order to furnish a fountain design and equipment package for the Columbine memorial in Littleton, Colo. The company is donating 10 percent of the contract value - about $5,000 - to assist with the construction.

Filling the gap: Goodwill Industries of New Mexico has received a $10,000 grant from PNM Resources Foundation to develop and launch its Occupational Literacy Program. The program will fill a gap in job training in New Mexico by providing training and education in business English, business computer skills, cultural competency and customer service to trainees and entry-level employees with limited English proficiency.

Nice site: The Tourism Association of New Mexico has selected the Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce Web site, www.cloudcroft.net, as recipient of the "2006 Tiara Award for Best Website." The site was developed and is maintained by RuidosoWeb Corp., which has offices in Ruidoso and Dallas. Local officials said traffic at the site is up 138 percent over 2005.
