Baker/Hernandez
Deborah A. Baker and Jaime D. Hernandez will marry Sept. 1 at Easter Hills Baptist Church.
The bride's parents are Kenneth and Ramona Baker of Albuquerque. The groom's parents are Steve and Gloria Gonzales and Efrin Hernandez of Lawton, Okla.
The couple were introduced to each another by a mutual friend. Jaime proposed in a small town in Oklahoma near a waterfall.
Dack/Skogmo
Nichole Dack and Matthew Skogmo will marry Sept. 29 at Kindred Community Church, Oak Chapel, in Anaheim Calif.
The bride's parents are Stephen and Gwen Dack of Brea, Calif.
The groom's parents are David and Linda Skogmo of Tijeras.
The couple met during a snowboarding trip. A major snowstorm had stranded them both at a Red Cross shelter. They say the most memorable aspect of their courtship has been the laughter.
Chavez/Saxon
Jessica Monique Chavez and David Saxon will marry in June 2008 with the wedding site to be a surprise.
The bride's parents are Linda Weyeneth and Art Chavez III of Albuquerque.
The groom's parents are Ben and Mary Saxon of Moriarty.
At the time they met, David was Jessica's boss. They are now partners in their business. They were engaged June 1 in a romantic setting in San Diego, Calif.
