Wedding
Brigman/Wright
Andrea Brigman and Adam Wright met at their friends' wedding in 2004.
They had a wedding of their own on March 23.
Adam proposed in front of the Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia.
Dennis Stone was the best man.
Amelia Piggott was the maid of honor.
Andrea is the daughter of Chris and Denise Brigman of Albuquerque.
Adam is the son of Wayne and Joyce Wright of Wenatchee, Wash.
The couple live in San Francisco.

Engagement
Luna/VanderGiesen
Michelle Luna and Jere VanderGiesen will marry Dec. 22 at Asbury United Methodist Church.
The day is special for more than one reason: It's the bride's grandparents' 52nd wedding anniversary.
The bride's parents are Loretta Luna and Adolph Romero of Albuquerque.
The groom's parents are Dennis and Carolyn VanderGiesen of Albuquerque.

Anniversaries
Kaemper
Elmer "Jack" Kaemper and Carol Kaemper will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
They married Aug. 23, 1957, at Zion Lutheran Church in Virginia, Minn.
The couple met at UNM on a blind date in 1956.
The Albuquerque couple have three children and two grandchildren, who honored them with a dinner and dance at the Four Hills Country Club.
Helgesen
Scott and Sandy Helgesen celebrated 25 years of marriage with a quiet dinner with friends and family.
Maybe next year they'll go on a second honeymoon to their first honeymoon destination in the Sandys, Bermuda.
The couple married Aug. 7, 1982, at Montgomery Evangelical Free Church in New Jersey.
They reside with their two children in Albuquerque.
