NEW YORK Looking uncharacteristically demure in a high-collared blue dress with a large silver cross around her neck, rapper Foxy Brown has been jailed for violating probation.
She was jailed Wednesday.
Probation officials asked Judge Melissa Jackson of Manhattan Criminal Court to revoke Brown's probation after she was arrested in Brooklyn on charges that she hit a neighbor with a BlackBerry in July, according to Probation Department spokesman Jack Ryan.
Brown, 27, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was sentenced one year ago to three years of probation and anger management therapy for attacking two manicurists at a Manhattan nail salon during an argument over payment in 2004.
