ALBUQUERQUE — Albuquerque police this afternoon arrested two men in connection with the killings Tuesday of a retired couple in their Northeast Heights home.

Arrested were Travis Rowley, 23, and Mike Lee, 21, both members of a traveling magazine sales group, police said.

On Tuesday, Tak Yi, 79, and his wife, Pung Yi, 69, were found with massive head trauma dead in their home at Avenida La Costa and Louisiana Boulevard Northeast. The door had not been forced open and the home had not been ransacked, police say.

Tips from the public led police to the two men, police said. The investigation into a motive for the killings is just beginning, police said.
