CBS has quite the successful lineup on Fridays, much to my dismay.

I adore "Numbers," but the network's other two offerings, "Moonlight" and "Ghost Whisperer" (7 p.m., KRQE News 13) shove me over the TV-hating cliff.

As a rule, I like otherworldly shows. But these two are just so over-the-top and poorly written that I simply can't make myself watch them of my own free will.

"Ghost Whisperer," now in its third season (yes, Virginia, there is a Satan), is the worst of the two.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her heaving, yet spectacularly untalented, bosom continue to make me grateful for my remote control.

Tonight, Melinda (Hewitt) must aid a nightclub waiter/former rock star who has not played guitar since his friend died.

In her hard-hitting investigation, she finds he is being haunted by two ghosts.

Also complicating matters is the fact the waiter/rock star still has some daddy issues - namely that his pappy wanted him to be a classical musician.

Boo-freakin'-hoo.

"2007: The Year in Animals" (7 p.m., Animal Planet) recalls some of the incredible animal stories of the past 12 months.

Some of the most notable stories include Michael Vick's dogfighting case, the pet food recall, Ellen DeGeneres' pet adoption controversy, and the bald eagle getting its feathered booty removed from the endangered species list.

My favorite story is the one on Americans spending a record $41 billion on their beloved companions.

I personally contributed $40 billion to that, mainly in vet bills and replacement shoes.

God bless the beasts, the children and my rapidly declining bank account.

On the talk show front, "Fashionably Late With Stacy London" (8 p.m., TLC) has its chatty host entering the world of Internet dating.

Stacy aims to help a single woman revamp her online profile, give her a makeover and then take a brand-spankin'-new picture that will hopefully bring all the boys to her door.

In between all that, we journey to the world of denim production at the Citizen of Humanity factory.

The wonders on this show never cease.
