Talented but troubled guard J.R. Giddens wouldn't sound off on his fired coach, Ritchie McKay.
But a pop of the sweatshirt said it all. When asked if Giddens would return under the future coach, Giddens smiled and replied: "I'll be a Lobo."
Giddens, the team's leading scorer at 16 points a game, last week was suspended indefinitely by McKay.
McKay said Giddens will make the trip to Salt Lake City, where the Lobos play Utah on Saturday. Giddens will start practicing with the team, McKay said.
Giddens has missed two games since the suspension took effect Saturday afternoon.
