New Mexico and the rest of the nation will have to wait a little longer to hear whether Gov. Bill Richardson plans to make a run for president.
Richardson this morning said he'll announce his plans after the Legislature convenes, but before the end of the month.
The governor, fresh from a trip to Sudan and speaking at Seven Bar Aviation, wouldn't tip his hand on what that announcement will be, but he is widely expected to toss his hat in the ring.
The former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, congressman and now two-term governor had said earlier he would unveil his plans before the Legislature begins, which is set for noon Tuesday.
