WASHINGTON Discount retailer Target Corp. and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission today voluntarily recalled Target's plush baby rattles and photo frame ornaments.
The company said small parts of the rattles and frame ornaments could break off and cause a choking hazard. Also, the rattle's plastic ring can break and expose sharp points. Target has received 11 complaints, but no reported injuries.
The items were sold between November and December for $1. The rattles include a pink bear and a green moose. The photo ornaments have a pink bear or green moose holding a square or heart-shaped frame.
