It's another week of restaurant news - save one tidbit.

We'll start with that.

Bed Bath & Beyond has opened its new West Side location, 3601 Old Airport Road, in a new development dubbed Cottonwood Commons. (The project will eventually include a Cost Plus World Market.)

Albuquerque's second BB&B opened in a retail hot spot, just around the bend from Wal-Mart and Home Depot and across from Lowe's.

Now, for the food.

Bratisserie La Provence, the newish French restaurant at Dartmouth and Central Avenue Northeast, is at last serving dinner.

Owner Mark Curran had been holding out on the extended hours for a license to serve wine and beer.

Meanwhile, Central Avenue Downtown has a few new eateries.

When I first heard the name Asian Noodle Bar, I must admit that I had something like a fusion Nothing But Noodles in my head.

I was wrong. The restaurant, 318 Central Ave. S.E., serves a variety of Asian dishes, including noodles and rice, and has Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese and Chinese fare.

Up the road a bit, Drew's Dang Good Dogs, 508 Central Ave. S.E. , is taking off.

The hot dog shop serves things up New England-style, which means the house-made buns are sliced from the top, buttered and grilled to perfection. Drew's serves Hebrew Nationals as well as its own brand of dogs, which are without preservatives or casings.

Dogs are griddled and made-to-order, and can be topped with any number of things, including both traditional and Rhode Island red chili.

If you pop in for hot dog on a cold day, be sure to say hello to enthusiastic owner Cheri Frost, who is dang excited to sell her dang good dogs.

And, from The Goods' Rumors Confirmation Department, we bring you sad news.

Graze Restaurant, 3128 Central Ave. S.E., is closing its doors.

Majority owner Mike Chesley said the restaurant hasn't been making money for some time now. The attached Gulp! Lounge, however, will stay open from 4 p.m. on, seven days a week.

The last day of operation will be Jan. 27. - the same day of closure for another local favorite.

Irysh Mac's coffeehouse, 110 Yale Blvd. S.E., is shutting down after almost exactly seven years.

A lease agreement with property owners Harvard Mall Partners led to the demise of a spot beloved for teeming with local culture and conversation.

Owner Erin Mowris vows she'll open another shop soon, this one on Osuna Road, but it likely won't be called Irysh Mac's.
