Soft and billowy things always intrigue v especially in the culinary world.

And if there's one thing the folks at Cake Fetish know, it's that soft and billowy makes a cupcake.

Cake Fetish, which specializes in outstanding and cleverly named cupcakes, makes sure that every morsel has a fluffy mound of frosting.

My favorites: the Boston Cream (vanilla cake filled with Bavarian cream and topped with chocolate ganache and buttercream); the Sleepless in Albuquerque (chocolate cake, mocha buttercream, chocolate ganache and an espresso bean); the "Hot" Chocolate (chocolate cake and red-chile chocolate buttercream frosting); and the Rocky Road (marshmallow filling, with peanuts, marshmallows and mini chocolate chips on top).

OK, so those are all chock-full of chocolate. But if you don't love the cocoa bean as much as some of us, don't fret. There's plenty on the menu for you, too, including: the delightful Cheesecake (a vanilla cake cupcake with fruit filling and graham cracker crumbs), a lovely creation called Envy (which has pistachio cream and chopped pistachios) and the delicious Toasted Coconut (which includes coconut cream cheese buttercream).

The best part? Just $1.75 for a regular-size treat, and a mere 55 cents for the minis.

Warning: You'll be tempted to buy several, foolishly believing you can handle the bounty of buttercream.

Of course, on the Cheap Eater's budget, you can buy a dozen minis ($6.50) and test your luck while searching for your own soft and billowy favorites.
