Funeral services for Army Sgt. James C. Akin, 23, are today in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
Memorial services at Calvary Chapel in Albuquerque were scheduled for 10 a.m.
Interment was set for 1 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Akin, a Valley High School graduate, was killed June 3 when a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle.
