Anniversaries

Ellis

Harold and Genevieve Ellis celebrated their 60th anniversary with friends and family.

The couple married March 8, 1947, in Sterling, Neb., at the Methodist church .

They have two children and eight grandchildren.

Lohman

M.D. and DeLores Lohman recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

They married May 11, 1957, in Las Vegas, Nev.

In 1960, the Lohmans moved from Nebraska to Albuquerque, where they were investors and owners of Lohman Motors and Caravan East Night Club.

They celebrated their anniversary at the Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town, where they enjoyed cocktails with family and friends.

The Lohmans have two children: daughter Terry Lohman-Vigil and her husband, Michael Vigil; and son Todd Lohman. They have two grandchildren.

Weddings

Sabanal/Craft

Emma Sajulga Sabanal and Robert Charles Craft met on a Christian Web site in September 2005.

They were married Nov. 19, 2006, at the Tree House in Quezon City, Philippines.

Pastor Cyroe Contreras and the Rev. Lucita Lacerna were the officiating clergy.

The bride's brother, Roel Sabanal, served as best man. Nilfa Ceballo was the maid of honor.

Emma is the daughter of Erlinda and Diosado Sabanal of the Philippines.

Sabanal and Craft fell deeply in love via e-mails and phone calls long before they ever met in person. They live in Albuquerque.

Schreck/Harper

Jenna Schreck and Matt Harper were married Dec. 10 at the University of New Mexico Alumni Chapel.

Matt, of Albuquerque, is the son of Cathy Criswell Harper.

Jenna is the daughter of Ray and Yvonne Schreck of Albuquerque.

Nicole Schreck was the maid of honor, and Rodney Herrington was the best man.

Way/Calico

Ceilidh Monica Catherine Way and Anthony James Calico met in Hawaii while he was serving in the Coast Guard.

They married March 30 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Ceilidh is the daughter of Ronnie and Hilary Way of Vancouver.

Anthony is the son of Tod and Carol Calico of Albuquerque.

The bride was attended by Zoe Way, Kate Buchanan and Mallory Waters.

Joshua Kaplanides was the ring bearer.

Dustin Olson, Charlotte Kaplanides and Samantha Calico attended the groom.

The couple had their honeymoon in Florida and plan to live in Vancouver.

Sanchez/Luna

Crystal Sanchez and Christopher Luna met at work during the summer of 1999.

The two have been together ever since and are proud of their strong relationship. They wed May 19 at Immaculate Conception Church.

The bride's sisters, Amber and Brittney Sanchez, served as maids of honor. The groom's brother, David Luna, served as best man.

Crystal is the daughter of Benny and Vivian Sanchez of Albuquerque. Chris is the son David and Leona Luna.
