Decisions, decisions
At the "Texas for Richardson" blog, Mkelley spoke to all those who wonder whether Gov. Bill Richardson is a viable presidential candidate. That's up to "us," he said, declaring "we're the deciders."
Well, now Richardson is a decider, too. At the "Blog for Democracy," Juliana Illari told about attending a house party for Richardson over the weekend. She happened to be wearing an "I'm the decider" pin, which Richardson liked, so she gave it to him.
We're hoping he wears it when he meets with legislative leaders about that minimum wage stall.
Cross-party creds
"Washington Whispers" from U.S. News & World Report says former Republican Congressman J.C. Watts likes Richardson for president. "Personally, I'm a Bill Richardson fan," he admits. "I think he has the Bill Clinton touch with people."
We're not so sure having the "Clinton touch" is always in a politician's best interests.
New Jersey assist
Wally Edge of "Politics NJ" says Richardson has picked up the endorsement of former state Democratic Party Chairman Ray Durkin. As one of the blog's comments says: "If I was seeking someone in NJ to navigate me politically as an out-of-state hopeful, Ray Durkin is as good as they get."
