A state board is considering revoking the architect's license of Marc Schiff, the Albuquerque architect who pleaded guilty in February to federal charges in a kickback scheme during construction of the Metro Courthouse.
In a statement Tuesday, the New Mexico Board of Examiners for Architects said it has issued a notice of contemplated action against Schiff for violating the board's code of conduct, incompetency and other charges.
Unless Schiff's activities are rebutted or explained, the board said it will consider suspending or revoking his license, fining him and notifying a national licensing organization.
