Those looking to avoid driving on weekend nights have two new options.

The city will offer Rapid Ride bus service along Central Avenue until 3 a.m. on weekend nights, starting Friday. Called Rapid After Dark, the service debuted last summer but went on hiatus during the winter.

The New Mexico Rail Runner Express also starts late-night service this weekend. On Fridays, a northbound train will depart Downtown at 8:25 p.m. and a southbound train will leave at 9:40.

And for the first time, the Rail Runner will begin Saturday service, with trains running from 11:25 a.m. to just before midnight.
