Relocation: Duncan Building Contractors has relocated its corporate offices to 4811B Hardware Drive N.E. The 30-year-old company was formerly located at 4001 Indian School Road N.E.

Retirement: Charlie Gray, general manager of the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown hotel, will retire after 40 years in the hotel industry and eight years with Stanford Hotels Corp., which owns the Sheraton Uptown. Sandy Arnold will be the new general manager.

Promotion: Frank Yates Jr. has been elected president of Yates Petroleum Corp. of Artesia. Yates is a fourth-generation oil man in the company, founded by Martin Yates Jr. in 1923.

Kudos: Therese Varela, director of the New Mexico Economic Development Department's Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP), has been named Public Servant of the Year by the New Mexico Industrial Development Executives Association.

Acquisition: ETS Development Group LLC has acquired Access Data Corporation of Albuquerque, the developer of Sleuth software. ETS is a technology solutions provider servicing the public safety sector. Sleuth software is an award-winning suite of applications that have helped more than 400 law enforcement clients nationwide.

New leader: Brad Brimhall has been named chief medical officer of Albuquerque's TriCore Reference Laboratories. Board certified in clinical and anatomic pathology, Brimhall has 15 years of medical experience.

Donation: Jack and Donna Rust's monetary gift to Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation will be used to create virtual nursing education programs to address the nursing shortage. The gift is the largest in the foundation's history, it said.

Investment: ACCION New Mexico has received a $1.2 million investment from First Community Bank that will help the nonprofit small business lender raise more money to support emerging entrepreneurs.
