My favorite player? Brett Favre. He's by far my favorite player. He's old school, classy, tough. You know his body hurts, but he loves the game so much.

It's crossed my mind, "What are the chances of (a broken neck) happening?" If you play worrying about getting hurt, you're gonna get hurt. It's just one of those things.

When you tackle you have to keep your head up. Sometimes I get it down and jar my head a little bit. It's important to use the right form.

I miss carrying the ball. It's a different style of play. I was a tailback. I was a lot quicker in high school - shifty. I blew my knee out my senior year, and it took away a lot of my speed and ability.

I liked lowering my shoulder and plowing ahead. It was fun.

The offensive guys get more attention and more hype, so that was fun. They don't write about defensive guys like they do offensive guys.

There's nothing like football. I love it. I like to be more aggressive. I couldn't do that in (high school) basketball. I fouled out every game. In football, you get to take out your frustrations.

When I was a senior in high school, I tore my meniscus. I told them to just take it out so I could play. When I woke up from surgery, the doctor said he repaired it because it wasn't in my best interests to take it out. I wasn't too happy about that. The next year at junior college the surgery fell apart. It kept popping in and out on me. After my sophomore year I had to do it again, and I told them, again, "Just take it out." I wake up from surgery again and it's the same thing: "I repaired it. It's in your best interests."

The meniscus would flip upside down and get locked into my joint, so the leg would be stuck. I was usually able to pop it back in. Last spring it popped out but I couldn't get it to go back in. I had two doctors pulling on it, trying to get it to go back in for an hour. They finally got it back in, and I was scheduled for surgery the next week and they took it out.

Now it's bone on bone. It's painful and it really aches, but you gotta play with it.

I love hunting. I grew up in Utah in a small community. I love to deer hunt and elk hunt.

I love to play golf, but I'm not very good. I'm pretty good with my irons. But my driver? I cannot keep it on the fairway. I have a slice, and I don't know how to fix it.

I killed a six-point bull elk with my bow. It was pretty intense; one of the most intense things I've done. It's the adrenaline, when you get 10 yards from a big animal like that and shoot it with your bow.

I'm gonna move home (after college). My wife grew up on a dairy farm, and I worked there the last five years. Her dad has all daughters. He doesn't have a son, so I'm gonna go back and be a partner on the dairy farm.

I've been married since I was 20. I'd say it's easier being married, because you don't have all the distractions.

We usually rent a Red Box movie, or hang out with our friends, a couple (of) other married couples. Major's (Mosley) the only other married guy on the team, but sometimes teammates will come over and my wife will cook everyone dinner.

"Blades of Glory" was the last one we rented. It was pretty funny.

Biggest pet peeve? Skateboarders on campus. When you're walking, they're loud and they drive me crazy. They're always weaving in and out around me. I just wanna lay one out one day.
