The New Mexico Scorpions defeated the Corpus Christi Rayz 5-2 on Saturday night, giving them a 5-0-1 record on their seven-game homestand.
Craig Macdonald scored the eventual game-winner in the third period off a rebound.
The Scorpions finish their long homestand Tuesday night against Amarillo. Game time is 7:15 p.m. at the Santa Ana Star Center.
A special two-for-one ticket promotion will be offered at the box office for the game.
