MIDDLEBURY, Vt. Two weeks after he vanished, a vigil for a missing Middlebury College student from Albuquerque drew about 100 people.
"This is a hard occasion," college chaplain Laurel Jordan told the crowd in Mead Memorial Chapel on Tuesday night. "We do not know where Nick Garza is . . . We want to hope and yet we're fearful."
Garza, 19, was last seen Feb. 5 at a dormitory party. Investigators have searched buildings, snowbanks and rooftops for clues about his disappearance, but say they have no reason to suspect foul play or suicide.
