The ethics case against Albuquerque Public Schools administrator Elsy Fierro has been formally dismissed by Acting Education Secretary Dorian Dodson.

Dodson issued her decision Thursday, officially ending the case involving a Rio Grande High School student's grade change. She also denied the attorney fees Fierro had requested.

Fierro's attorney, Gail Stewart, could not be reached for comment this morning.
