U.S. Army Spc. Stephen Acosta, 20, of Tampa, Fla., searches for clues to the whereabouts of two missing American soldiers in tall reeds near the Iraqi village of Quarghuli south of Baghdad. Another soldier who also disappeared last month was later found dead. Acosta is a member of Company B, 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division.
