The Navy's EA-6B Prowler, introduced during the Vietnam War, is now seeing service over Iraq in the battle against roadside bombs. The electronic warfare equipment on the Prowler is used to jam the signals of devices like cell phones and garage door openers that are used to trigger roadside bombs by remote control.
