Jomar Lean, 16, practices with the rest of Manzano High School's Majestix dance team. Jomar has faced some taunting and even had things thrown at him during during performances. He takes it in stride, saying the dancing and friendships on the squad make it all worthwhile. The team's dance director, Leanne LeCompte, says he's a great addition. "We're the only dance team in the city, probably the state, to have a male dancer, and it's great," she said. "It makes our team different, and we can include new elements that you can't do with only girls."
