Bedding down for the night, (from left) Doug Hamann gazes into a tank at the Albuquerque Aquarium as his wife, Jenn, reads a story to son Braden and Michael Rodriguez, both age 4. Next to them is Kara Rodriguez, 7. Lights in the tank are typically turned off at night to give the fish a rest; a photographer's flash lights the tank here. Sleepover participants can choose any spot in the aquarium, and most settle down between 10:30 and 11 p.m.
