There are several ways to play a podcast

Your computer will ask you to either play or download the podcast. Both Windows and Macs have software that play .MP3s. If you chose to download the .MP3, you can move it into iTunes, burn it to a CD or move it to a jump or mini-drive and then play it on any device that plays .MP3s.
