HOPE: that is exactly what I am looking for.
During idle conversation at work yesterday, a woman told me she believed that humans would destroy themselves. I know this is possible. Hearing it come out of her mouth with casual tone and manner made it click for me that this is our mythology. I have participated in this story.
Hope is exactly what I need. Not blind optimism--but hope--to motivate me to take responsibility for my actions.
